Event Details

This course has been designed to help you and your organisation understand the opportunities for engaging with and working with companies.

We will take a look at the different ways in which companies may get involved with charities; whether that be through financial donations, gifts in kind, sponsorship or through employee volunteering. We will also explore the criteria and requirements that corporate supporters will be looking for when choosing which charities to support and how you can use these to identify and secure support from the companies that have the best fit with your organisation.

Target Audience: This course will benefit those who would like an introduction to developing corporate relationships.  It will also provide a refresher for those who would like to update their strategies for researching, selecting and engaging corporate support.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

·         Describe the benefits of corporate support, to their charity and to the company.

·         Research and identify potential company supporters, exploring different criteria requirements that corporate sponsors have.

  •  Assess the kinds of corporate support that will have the best fit with their organisation.

·         Use a range of tools and methods to help them engage corporate supporters.
